New Slovenia Summer Guide

If youre reading this, then its a fair guess that youre planning a break to one of Europes smallest but loveliest countries. And were obviously delighted that youve hit Ljubljana Life to help you get even more out of your trip. But you might like to take a quick peak at the new Summer Guide to Slovenia Click here published by the National Tourist Board as well, especially if youre heading further afield from the capital.

The new guide for 2009 includes a nifty little section on the capital, including a helpful transport map, lots of little extras on what to see and do in the city including the zoo and funicular railway. The guide also covers all the different mountain resorts across the country by region. While the mountain areas in Slovenia are a popular winter destination for skiing, summers a great time to explore the many walking trails that dot the countryside as well and the guide includes info on lots of walks.

While Ljubljana Life undoubtedly gives you the lowdown on the city (ok were biased!), why not download a copy of the guide to take with you, or once in town just watch out for the roving postman of 150 years ago on an authentic penny farthing handing out free copies.
