An Autumn of Jazz in Krakow

As much as we love Warsaw, we won't lie - an escape to the medieval city of Krakow is something we relish. And what better reason to head south than the royal city's legendary Jazz Autumn, a two-month long festival of jazz exploration.

The festival will kick off with a performance by Peter Brotzmann's Full Blast free jazz trio at Fabryka club in Krakow's Podgorze district on 17 September. Before the festival winds up by the end of November, Krakow's Jazz Autumn will see performances by groups and soloists at both the Fabryka club and in Alchemia in Kazimierz. Just some of the names of the festival's bill are: Lucien Dubuis Trio, Phall Fatale, Barry Guy New Orchestra, Dead Capo, and Ken Vandermark.

For full information and schedule details head to the official website at Alchemia club.
