New features for this forum
This city is really missing a good English-language forum, so I am glad I found this! However, I think some things need to be improved! It would be good if you could add email notification (opt-in and opt-out) to replies, maybe some profiles? Anyone out there listening? Anyone got some other ideas how to improve this?

it would be easiest to disable logging in altogether, so that anyone could reply without giving their email - some people are just too lazy to do that!

Thanks warsawmagic and djsilence - points taken and all good ones. Just a bit concerned that if we remove the login verification altogether, the forum could be swamped with spam... also it would be impossible to notify people by email if their threads had been answered if we do not keep their contact details. If there was no login, I guess that most people would not use a genuine email address at all.... thoughts?
