Search for Hebrew painter

In 1966 I visited Warsaw and was attracted by an exhibition of paintings hanging on the Warsaw wall. Characteristic of these paintings was the inclusion of Hebrew characters, indicating a text from the Hebrew bible. I bought such a painting with a text of the book of Ezechiel. The name of the painter looks like K. JAWARZSKI. I'm looking for more information about this painter. Who may help me?
