Melissa Reid In Emotional Victory at Prague Masters

Overcoming great personal turmoil, Melissa Reid managed to emerge victorious at Prague's Raiffeisenbank Golf Masters which took place at the Albatross golf resort. This was the 24-year-old English golfer's first appearance since the tragic death of her mother in a car accident in Germany just one month ago.

Melissa Reid beat Italian Diana Luna by just one shot in an emotional final round, which saw Reid land a six-foot putt to win the tournament. This was Reid's fourth Ladies European Tour victory.

The many local fans at the event were disappointed with the results of Czech golfers Klara Spilkova, Denisa Sobotkova, and Karolina Vickova, all three of whom did not make the cut.
