Now in its 9th year, the Fringe Festival presents a variety of performance art including theatre, dance, comedy, and music from around the world.

The festival will award two prizes this year for outstanding productions by companies performing during Fringe including the Kreativni Cena (Creative Award) and the Inspirativni Cena (Inspiration Award) for emerging works or companies. Jana Krtitele na Pradle, Kavarna 3+1, Divadlo Certovka, A Studio Rubin, and Divadlo Inspirace.

The Prague Post recommends three productions in particular: "An Act of Will - The Secret Life of William Shakespeare" (a one-man show performed by Michael McEvoy), "The Harbour" (performed by English theatre group Limbik), and "The Heart of a Dog" (a satire performed by American company Bad Soviet Habits).
