It's impossible to mention the word "Krakow" and not say "culture" the same sentence. In this city you are absolutely immersed in all of life's finer things. Cherubs and gargoyles look down from almost every ancient palace and townhouse - guarding the endless treasure troves of everything cultural.read more
From famous paintings, like Da Vinci's "Lady with an Ermine" to Egyptian artefacts, to catacombs which easily break the thousand-year marker, you'll find more culture and history here than in most cities on this planet. When you've satisfied your museum-hunger, move right along to Krakow's many galleries. Showcasing the best of the old as well as the brightest modern stars, you'll get more art than you can handle. And let's not forget about the city's own, unique culture. There are not many places in the world where "nie kulturalny" (uncultured) survives as a powerful cut-down. We've prepared an easy to use directory of all of the city's finer things. Perfect for balancing out that "Drink" section!
I went to an interesting photo exhibition here recently, nice place, for chilling after in the cafe as well.
Henryk Gallery is well worth visiting if you are into contemporary young Polish art. Try and pick out some new talent before they become too expensive!
An important place to visit in Kazimierz if you are interested in Jewish history. Regular exhibitions and events also.
Best museum in KRK!
Excellent museum. Exhibitions of varying quality, but Schindler Museum is next door, so plenty of options....
I thought it was good, they have a few exhibition halls so spent a few hours there.
This is a little gold mine and very informative ( in English and Polish). If more museums were as interactive as this then history could really come alive. Highly recommend a visit
Good morning can you please let me know if there are any performances on 5th or 6th September 2017.
Great, fun experience. I have seen few plays by KKP and always enjoyed them. Great work from all the actors!
