Map of Central Cracow
This map of Cracow will give you some idea of the general layout of the city, starting from the Old Town, with Wawel to the south and beyond that the lively Kazimierz district. Use the search panel on the left of the map to display the best restaurants, hotels and hostels, bars, cafes and clubs and shops as well as the most interesting cultural attractions in the city. Watch out in Krakow. Many people have been drugged here in pubs, clubs or whatever and than robbed of money from their bankcards. Someone has even lost his life. The people are ruthless and cruel. Please Watch out! [Note from Editor: This comment relates to a certain chain of STRIP CLUBS in which many of our users have reported being drugged and stolen from. The normal people of KRAKOW, however, are by no means ruthless or cruel and the city itself is very, very safe. We recommend simply not going to strip clubs anywhere in the world as the generally run within blackmarket, drug & human trafficking & exploitation circles. But Krakow city itself, and it's pubs, clubs & whatever are very safe. Just not strip clubs. ]

ReplyHello Friends, i am about to organise a bachelor party for my best friend. basically i took cracow due to a lot of recommendations i got. but i need a bit of help. i heard, that there are some agencies where you actually could organise a program for a day. do you guys have any experience on that? or would you prefer something else? ReplyI love this beautiful city, I have been here 3 times already. Each time I have more fun than the prior time. The food is fantastic, the beer even better and the history here is amazing. I believe every human should visit Aushwitz to prevent the horrible politicians all over the world from doing the crimes they attempt

ReplyWorst strip club I've been to in Poland. Girls give you a price for a lap dance then you pay and they say it wasn't enough. I would never go back. All others a way better.
ReplyA great help! We are here for the Euro 2012, and this has been a great help in getting orientated in the city. We found the England team hotel (Hotel Stary) pretty quickly and have seen them a couple of times as they get on the bus to go training... still no autographs :(
Replywas looking for the train station on the Krakow map ... what is there to see and do near the train station, as I will be travelling from Lviv to Prague and will stop off briefly in Krakow.
ReplyMap reasonably good, in particular the location facility. However, for greater detail of the road system etc, I found multimap was better.

ReplyI will be traveling to Poland this year & plan to find as much history of my family. My grandmother brought with her an 8 page play from poland when she moved to the U.S.A. in 1911. I think it was a connection to Helena Modjeska. Her name was Marie Blumberg, her parents I believe are buried in the Rakowicki cemetery along with her sister whose married name was Slawinski. Can I obtain a list of who's buried there?

ReplyBeen here now for 6 weeks and have answered my own question about grocery stores. They are almost everywhere .... every couple of blocks or so and you will run across a small grocery store. We also like Jubilat, Tesco and the Galaria Krakowska as well, which has Carrefours.
Replynice map .... where are the grocery stores? ... can't always eat out and need to know where we can buy food. Otherwise a great map and will be a great help when we move to Krakow in a couple of weeks.

Replywhat would be GREAT is to be able to get this map on my iPhone and be able to use it even where there is no WIFI etc. Make an simple iPhone app ? a PDF ? i don't know but i miss it allready

ReplyI have just returned from Krakow following a short city break. I stayed at the Pod Roza hotel which was excellent. The city is wonderful, lots to see and do. The map came in very handy when trying to locate restaurants. Navigating the city's streets was very easy. I hope to go back one day!

ReplyWorking for me fine here in Ireland. I'm on Firefox for Mac. I selected restaurants, the markers come up, then when I click on the marker all the information appears and I can click on the restaurant name to see more info. It's an excellent map of Krakow! Maybe, though, the markers could be a bit smaller, so they do't look so cluttered - that's a lot of places you have there!
ReplyThis map looks good, but when you try to use it you can't do shit. You can't click the restaurants, you're left to guess. Try again...
ReplyThis map of Cracow is great - it would be even better if it started up with some places marked on it, so you didn't have to click on those links on the left to see the places. Or maybe show diferent places on the map in diffent colours??
ReplyThis is really a fantastic map of Krakow. Well done! Still missing a few points of interest (sukiennice should be marked on the map, surely?) but otherwise, it's really good.
