According to UEFA, Kiev is the only Ukrainian city confirmed as one of the venues of the EURO 2012 championships. Three other Ukrainian cities (Lviv, Donetsk and Kharkiv) are still waiting for the final decision, which will be announced on November 30.
Michel Platini said that although Kiev is the only Ukrainian city able to organize the event, its infrastructure problems have yet to be resolved: "The final match will be held in Kiev only if specific conditions with regard to the stadium, airport infrastructure regional transport and accommodation are met by November 30," he said.
Kiev has still some time to pull itself together. We are definitely keeping our fingers crossed!
