Man Returns Library Book 40 Years Overdue

Okay Zagreb. Time to come clean with the City Library. It's safe to settle up; just follow this man's lead:

After the Zagreb City Library graciously announced an amnesty on overdue library books this week, one Zagreb citizen had the courage to return a book he borrowed 40 years prior. Ante Matic took out Rudyard Kipling's The Light That Failed from Zagreb City Library in 1967, returning it regret-free this week, thanks to the amnesty. One library spokesman calculated his fine at over 1,025 Euros had it not been absolved prior to his arrival. When asked about the borrowed book, Matic replied that he'd been just too busy to read it these last forty years.
