The Legends is definately a very good local pub. I visit there quite a lot, and Graham always has a welcoming smile and chat that makes this pub so special. I would definately recommend this pub for its good service, homily, and very clean.

This was the worst pub / restaurant we have ever encountered. The staff was extremely rude, and both the food and the beer didn't remind anything British. You can expect much better treatment and higher food and beverage quality in gresy spoon cafes in the UK! A truly awful, dodgy place with typically communist style Polish attitude and pretence of being British....LOL! The owners have no concept of Britishness or politeness. Avoid it guys, unless you want to be insulted and taken for a fool.

Don't go there. No rugby match on tv (during the six nations'). No kindness, only a discourteous boss. How such a bar can still exist?

My favourite place in Warsaw! The only food I had from a can was the baked beans as well they should be ;) My personal treat is their winter goulash soup although you'd have to go a long way to find a better pub curry too! I waited a long time to find a friendly local with great English ales & somewhere to sit at the bar & chat nonsense to strangers & here it is. Enjoy!

Will never go back, the beer was flat, the wine tasted like vinegar and the food was straight from a can for 4 times the price - oh and the sport, forget it - I went for an England game and it was fuzzy and stalled throughout - just bad, very bad

Seriously give it a miss. The food is, well what can I say, sad, below what you would expect - given the high prices - and, well not edible... it's just sad. And the beer, I went for the English beer... its flat, flatter than a glass of still water, flat - I had high hopes for this place but it is just not good... so I'm looking for another British place that may deliver quality for the high prices British pubs charge in this town.

A great place with good British food, good beer and very friendly and welcoming staff. Graham and beata make you feel really welcome and nothing is too much trouble. A regular quiz night, loads of sport ok the telly and nice terrace make it great place to rest and unwind. 10/10

Friendly pub in centre that is easy to get to, just a few mins from the Marriot and the main tram/bus stops outside the central station. Very friendly owners and staff, different beers, lagers, ciders etc. Always a good place to meet other ex-pats in the city and chat at the bar.

Nothing like a typical Warsaw experience, obviously, but it is a fun night out. Ignore the ridiculous negative comments below. Sure this place is not the cleanest, classiest, but if you have been to any standard Irish bars in Europe you know what to expect!

We went there on St Paddy's day and the atmostphere was bloody awesome! Everyone was singing, dancing, wearing the old Guinness hats...we had a great night. Not an Irish person in sight, but hello...we're in WARSAW. There were some negatives: Toilets were gross, pints were not exactly full, men were decidedly more gropey than I am used to. You will soon be too drunk to notice these things anyway!

Decent food ??? 25 zl for some over cooked tortelloni swimming in a sea of water and balsamic vinegar. The stuffing was non existant. I didn't feel any atmosphere or vibe or anything at all. The place seemed pretentious.

I usually avoid "Irish" pubs when I'm travelling but if you ignore the themeing here there's nothing wrong with this pub at all. Booze is reasonably priced (if you stick to the Zwiec and Wyborka). Food is basic but huge portions - try the "Knuckle of Pork!". My meagre Polish vocabulary seemed appreciated by staff and regulars alike and I found this the friendliest bar in town (although I was only there for a couple of days).

I used to work a bit for the Irish Embassy, had my share of pub going... went to Ireland, loved it over there. If you like Irish culture and tradition, DO NOT GO, never, ever, to the so-called "irish pubs" - at least in Warsaw. Go to a nice, funny Polish local place instead, so u might avoid being robber in broad daylight. Dear Irish friends, please: stay away of these places.

Had the chicked burger with fries in this pretty cool joint - tasty, but the portion was rather small. I liked the beer garden and the atmosphere inside. Takes itself too seriously though!

Always found Miedzy Nami a bit odd. Kind of pretentious, stand offish, not very friendly, have never actually met any new or interesting people to talk to there, but still, in a strange way I quite like it. Just can't explain why.

Hmmm, not the best place for a tourist to go in warsaw. Easy going fun can turn nasty in seconds. Unfortunately it's so central that most 'weekenders' end up there at some point.

dan - patricks is a Polish pub, anyone claiming different doesn't know warsaw. it's most certainly not expat, the few foreigners in there get robbed, or sometimes even killed - see Poland Monthly feature on it a couple of years back. The fact that the tricolor flying inside is actually an Italian flag sums up the Irishness of this place. The only thing Irish about Patrick's is the number of Poles working behind the bar. And it's still crap.

here's a thought...whilst abroad...why not try a 'local' pub instead of choosing an oirish bar? flying half way across europe to sit with english chavs and drink guiness seems like a waste of time when i can walk out my door and experience that. best nights in poland are had in local bars...providing you don't act like a twat, which i suspect most people who frequent these establishments would. rubbish.
