Located in the infamous Palace of Culture and Science, the Kinoteka Theatre has existed since 2001, though it can't help but recall the 50 years of history of the building it's housed in. In its socrealist halls you'll find the newest in sound and cinema technology, as well as comfortable seats that would put any dictator to shame. The theatre is host to several larger film festivals and special events throughout the year.

I haven't tried the cinema but I just want to say the cafe in reception is great. Coffee with milk is just 7 zl and they have candles, an old film projector, marble floors and leather sofas. Far better value than most the coffee shops nearby.
Look into special events and film festivals. IT is really a classic Warsaw institution and worth visiting for film buffs.
I've been to some great film festivals here...
