Food: 5 Staff: 3 Interior: 4 The food (we ate the salmon steak and créme brulée) was really good and the price was rather good. The wine tasted well with the food, but was somewhat expensive. The staff wasn't as attentive as they should have been, but weren't rude. The looks of the restaurant was nice, but some details in the interior design broke the style a bit to much. The choice of music was also rather... eclectic.

An extremely sad place. No understanding what a service is, noone cleans table after previos guests, lack of knowledge on such elementary thing that you don't bring appetizer AFTER the main course, food quality at a level of factory cantine... do not go there!! And sadly, this is not an unlucky coincidence, but regular practice.

Cili Pica in Jurmala had the worst service. We've gone 3 times now and had to wait over an hour for food. This last time we sat fifteen minutes before my husband got up to get menus. We waited even longer to be waited on. Finally, based on our previous experiences at this location, we decided to leave. Don't waste your time here. They need better management in my opinion.

I moved to Latvia with my Latvian wife some three years since. I must say it is hard in winter living on a north rural estate. We cant always get out to our stock. I have been to India and have loved their cuisine and have tried to cook even the simplest curry sauce but Latvia has no shop who sell the ingredients. Latvians hate chilli so where does one trot to find an Indian grocer in Riga.

This was a great first dinner in Riga for me. Plenty of meaty dishes as well as lighter salad bar items. I had Kefir, grey peas, pork, smoked salmon, herring, shrimp on a kabob, fresh raspberries and cream. All really good!

Does not exist! No cafe - shop on this adress! A similar quite close which was excellent.

Lovely, cosy, excellent Latvian food, quick service, polite, kind and cheap! And all this in the beginning of February when there is very very little tourists around. We (my husband) and I recommend it!

Very good service, all dishes we tried were excellent (Pasta carbonara, Pizza, pork) on the first floor you can seat on a couch and look to the panoramic window at the city vanity..

.... I've never eaten such a Bad Pizza. Waiting 45 Minutes for it - became a nearly cold one!! The waiter was bad, too. Sorry - from my perspektive max one Star!

This is the second best thing from Finland after Nokia.

We went to Chili Pica next to Laima Clock in Riga center. Never going back there. Ordered just salad and had to wait 30-45 min, when food finally came it was disappointment too. Nothing like looked in menu and much smaller + stale croutons. Rating just for this Chili Pica. Other places were not like this one.

The most rude and unprofessional service ever! Not for families with kids or people with special needs or handicap.

This is a decent restaurant with good prices. Tasty meals; you can get a table in a patio. For lovers of Crème Brulee this is definitely a 5-star restaurant because not many restaurants have this French delicacy in the menu.

Excellent food - but very expensive. So I give it 4 stars for an overall rating.

Great place for lunch , excellent Latvian grilled meat and fish cooked to perfection

A few years ago I was there, visiting Riga, and it stuck to my mind since. Great colorful building, superfood and lovely people there. All kinds of different guests as well.

I read good reviews and thought that business lunch would be also good there. It was the worst restaurant experience in my life. Service is horrible and waitress just gave me many humiliating words, because Im vegetarian. I didn't get my full order to make it worse. At the end I went to pay and 3 rockers at the cashier were discussing how much should they take from me for my dry and cold potatoes and tried to make fun of me. I was angry, hungry and humiliated after this restaurant. Maybe during the evening the staff and food is different, but during the day it was my most awful experience ever.

I recommend it with all my heart. Onion soup delicious, catfish with delicious sauce, tasty Latvian juice with honey and cranberry syrup! Place is very nice, near the Castle. Prices are good. Enjoy!

Awsome experience - great food, relaxing atmosphere

Perfect place to get vegetarian meal. Free WI-FI. Open hours from 10:00 till 19:30. Happy hour from 18:30-19:30(all food with discount). Some time ago (March 2012) they opened second restaurant hall.

This place is an old wine cellar. That is the charm. It is cramped and warm and real. It is also hard to find. If youŗe lucky enough to wander inside, you will find it filled with Latvian countryman having beers and a hardworking woman or two (maybe her daughter) making the most authentic Latvian food in all of Riga.

This is my favorit restaurant in Riga, food always fresh, many things what to choose from, very tasty, will be back soon.
