New Park for Zablocie

Until the end of November Zabłocie be a new park. It will be between the Vistula River, the bridge and the street Zablocie Kotlarski. The Management of Urban Green is already looking for work and the contractor before the May weekend wants to settle the tender.

The park named "Station-Vistula" in this year's budget reserved 2.3 million. This amount allows to carry out all the work in one season. The city already has the necessary documents, including the late March issued a building permit. Last year, the whole concept has been prepared on the basis of workshops with the participation of residents and rozpisanego architectural competition.

Until the end of November so far neglected plot, which for years served as a "wild" parking, appear alleys with benches, bins and lighting. Park project takes into account the area prepared for the different needs of users.

- It is not only a tender for work related to the park, but also for the construction of the pavilion catering workshop - notes Joanna Wendorff, one of the initiators of the creation of the park. Similar objects ZZM intends to put in other parks in the city - so that on the one hand facilitate the organization of various events there, and on the other provide the opportunity to benefit from a small catering facility or the toilet.

Already the site of the future park held meetings or picnics, organized by the involved in the whole idea of ​​a foundation Leisure. They had to integrate the residents around the idea of ​​creating the park, but also be the first step to a gradual change in the appearance and character of the space.

After creating a foundation Leisure pavilion intends to take part in the tender for the site operator. - We want to continue and develop our current activities in this place. But we must still wait - says Joanna Wendorff.
