Krakow Valleys Awarded As The New Wonder of Poland

National Geographic Traveller magazine has announced its verdict for The New Seven Wonders of Poland contest. This year's awardee is Krakow Valleys National Park.

NGT's readers have voted the place better than 32 other attractive places of interests in Poland, such as the Textile Museum in Lodz, Castle Hill in Cieszyn, and the Glassware Heritage Centre in Krosno. "Not only Krakowians love them [the valleys]. Should you come here but once, you will be returning repeatedly" wrote jurors in justifying their decision.

The voters stressed the national park's lanscape, with many valleys, canyons, rivers and breathtaking views. Also, the advantage was a superb complex of trails and paths for hikers and bikers.

Congratulations, if we may say so...
