Poland Win Eurovision Dance
Poland romped to victory at the weekend in Glasgow during the Eurovision's second ever Dance Contest - sister of the famous Eurovision Song Contest.
Dancer Edyta Herbus and actor Marcin Mroczek were deservedly delighted with their victory, as they amassed a whopping 154 points - a large margin over second place Russian who managed 121 points, just ahead of Ukraine on 119, who completed a Slavic top three. Meanwhile, of the 14 nations that took part in the competition, it was the Dutch who had egg on their face - garnering a measly one point!
Back to our Polish heroes however - the young couple wowed the judges with a freestyle dance which combined elements of rumba and included a special routine set to Michael Jackson's music. No doubt the pop king's famed dancing ability rubbed off on the pair, whose victory was won despite being drawn in running order number 13.
