Antique medallion

I have what appears to be a bronze madalion, possibly dated 1904 from what appears to be from "Universitas Jagellionica Cracoviensis..." This medal has King Kazimirus rex on one side. with a date of 1934 I am including pictures and hope that you might have information on this medal, and what it was for etc. http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o257/Cokenee/Picture059-1.jpg http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o257/Cokenee/Picture058-1.jpg Thank you in advance for any help that you may provide. Hi, Colette. That date on the side with the King holding a scepter and crown (image 58) appears to be 1364, the date the university was founded by the King Kazimierz (Casimir III the Great in English). On the side with the crossed scepters (image 59), and directly below them, I'm seeing a number of possibly 29, 89 or 52. Hope that helps.

Hi Colette, I just came across you post about the medallion and am intrigued :0) I have a friend who lives in the city and knows about such things and I'm sure could tell you more about it... Perhaps I could put you in touch with her?
