Opening the Door? Belarusian Art Today

Tue 24th

As geographical neighbours with a deeply intertwined history, Poland and Belarus have always enjoyed a special relationship. But in the last twenty years, Poland's western outlook and Belarus' political situation has created a rift in the cultural exchange of these nations. This new exhibition at Zacheta aims to remedy the situation with a look at contemporary art by both Belrusian living abroad and those who have remained in their native land. A fascinating look at the artists' perspective towards this politically troubled country.
