CONCERT: MACEO PARKER

Maceo Parker, a giant in the world of jazz, and the undisputed leader of modern groove, will be performing just one concert in Poland. The legendary artist got his start seducing audiences on the saxophone, performing with such icons as James Brown, George Clinton, and even Prince, before honing in his own unique sound. Today, Parker's music is synonymous with funk, and his sound is one of a kind. The line-up for the Warsaw concert, taking place in the Congressional Hall of the Palace of Culture, includes Parker on sax, flute and vocal, accompanied by a handful of musicians as well as Corey Parker and Neta Hall providing additional vocal support. The concert is part of the Polish "Jazz Era" series, and tickets are priced between 70 and 160 zloty.
