Poznan Eye Doctors in Nepal

A group of doctors from Poznan have traveled to Nepal as part of the Third Eye project, aiming to restore the sight of more than one hundred people.

The eye doctors, who usually work at the Jozef Strus hospital in Poznan, have set up a mobile eye clinic are traveling from town to town in Nepal treating patients from dawn to dusk. The doctors have treated roughly three thousand Nepalese patients with varying degrees of eye problems.

For their Third Eye mission, the doctors took a week of holiday from their jobs and covered expenses from their own pocket, while sponsorship came solely in the form of physical equipment donated by medical companies.
