Wroclaw to get Aquapark

Wroclaw is soon to be the proud owner of Poland's largest and most modern Aquapark!

This exciting new project, costing 23 million Euros, will be located at the foot of the Andersa hill and will have 12,000 sq. metres of water surface. It will be able to hold 1,800 people at one time and it is estimated that 10,000 people could pass through its doors during the course of a day.

Amongst its attractions the complex will boast six slides, wave machines, grotto, water curtains, waterfalls, geysers and water guns, and a paddling pool for the younger visitors. In addition guests will be able to relax in a sauna, fitness studio, restaurant, solarium or enjoy a water massage.

The Aquapark will be open from 08:00 - 22:00 and is due to open in the autumn of 2006.

This Aqua Park will not open. Unfortunate like 90% of Poland not enough workers on the project and they went over budget like 3 times. It's a waste what they did. It would have been nice too!
