Euro 2012 Draw Completed

The Palace of Arts in Kiev has hosted the draw for the group stage of the Euro 2012 football championships taking place in Poland and Ukraine next year. From amongst the sixteen qualified teams, the following groups were drawn -

Group A: Poland, Greece, Russia, Czech Republic
Group B: Netherlands, Denmark, Portugal, Germany
Group C: Spain, Ireland, Croatia, Germany
Group D: Ukraine, France, Sweden, England

This means Wroclaw is confirmed to host the following matches in June: Russia vs. Czech Republic (8 June), Greece vs. Czech Republic (12 June), and Czech Republic vs. Poland (16 June).

The other cities hosting matches in Poland are: Warsaw, Gdansk, and Poznan.
