Wroclaw Preps City Bikes

Getting around Wroclaw is about to get a whole lot easier, with the introduction of Wroclaw's newest mode of transportation - the NextBike public bicycle rental program.

Set to kick off at the beginning of June, the NextBike system will see several streetside bike stands pop across the city from which the two-wheelers are available for short-term rental. The best part? The first 20 minutes of your rental is free, which means getting from one side of the city centre to the other will be a breeze. After the first 20 minutes, the remainder of the first hour will cost 2 zloty, with the hourly rate continuing on at 4 zloty per hour.

Before heading to the bike stands make sure to register at nextbike.pl and have a look at the map marking NextBike stands across the city. Look for the most central bike rental stands at the Market Square on the corner of Wita Stwosza street as well as at the Swidnickie passage or Galeria Dominikanska shopping centre.
