Cleaning The Mess Up

Half of Bulgaria"s capital is drowning in garbage. The city is having problems with one of the companies responsible for trash disposing. The firm, which was supposed to clean up two central and one eastern parts of Sofia, ceased to work, claiming they still needed to be paid over 3,25 mln euros for the previous month. City authorities denied and now Sofia is full of overflowing garbage cans, which is not exactly a showcase for a capital city.

What is more, the same company had decided to remove all of its garbage cans, containers and rubbish bins from bus stations. And so they did.

Although a rival company was hired to take care of the mess, unfortunaly the city has been littered all over and is going to need some time to recover.
