Great place a d great food!!!

Waited TWO hours for our food. In total it took us more than three hours from sitting down to paying the bill.

Restauracja cenowo i prezentacja na pierwszy rzut wyglada bardzo dobrze. Byliśmy tam wczoraj 23.02.2023 na obiedzie koło 16:00 1 błąd kelnera kiedy nie skończyliśmy zamawiać pic kiedy kelner z tekstem dobra zamiast ewentualnie dopytać się czy jesteście coś albo 5 sekund odczekać odwrócił się i poszedł robić picia.2. Po przyniesieniu picia dozamowilam wodę z lodem i cytryna i 2 kawe kutra poprosiłam przynieść po ukończeniu posiłku. Ani cytryny nie doczekałam się ani kawy po posiłku. 3. Przy zamówieniu 1 zupy z 3 osób nie było spytano czy zupę podawać na początku czy wszystko razem i 1 osoba kutra zamówiła zupę musiała czekać aż nam przyniosą jedzenie bo nie przestoi tak zaczynać jeść!!! 4. Kelner miał ciagle problem z naszymi zeczami na stole czyli 1 telefon i okulary aby rozłożyć nasze zamówienie na stole. 5. Przy zabieraniu pare talerzy nie miłym głosem usłyszałam tekst „to mogę już podziękować”. Nawet nie rozumiem do czego służył. Nigdy tam już nie wrócę. Jedzenie jest w miarę dobre ale okropna obsługa która nie zwraca uwagi na klientow i ich prośbę i ta cała reszta co z nami wydarzyła się …. Polecam nie daleko od tego miejsca „Pod Wawelem kompania kuflowa” bardzo dobre jedzenie i prześwietla obsługa klienta. Mniej prestiżowe miejsce ale Pod baranem u nich miała by co pouczyć się !!! Nie polecam restauracji Pod Baranem

Very upset triple than prices on menus

Probably the best restaurant in Krakow for typical Polish food. Always excellent service as well. A bit on the formal side, but overall a great experience.

Z przykrością muszę podzielić się naszą opinią o wizycie w restauracji Wierzynek kilka dni temu.. Pora obiadowa, jesteśmy jedynymi gośćmi. Zamawiamy gołąbki z musem grzybowym. Spodziewamy się smakowitego dania godnego tradycji kuchni polskiej. Niestety, nasze talerze prezentują się słabo a potrawa smakuje jeszcze gorzej. Na talerzu są dwa mikroskopijne, bardzo twarde, prawie czarne liście kapusty włoskiej oporne sztućcom. Wewnątrz liścia słabo zwiniętego jest może łyżka suchej, rozlatującej się kaszy pęczak. Obok tego mała porcja musu grzybowego i połowa grzybka. Widok mało estetyczny a degustacja zostaje w pamięci jako koszmar. Zapłaciliśmy 178 zł za dwie porcje, wyszliśmy głodni, zdegustowani i bardzo rozczarowani. Nie polecamy tej restauracji.

One of my favourite places in Krakow!

W ten letni sezon Starka otworzyła w podwórku ogródek i fajnie było spędzić ze znajomymi czas na obiedzie - oczywiście w środku też jest uroczo i niepowtarzalnie, klimat miejsca specyficzny i dobra polska kuchnia, zaczynając od przystawek a kończąc na deserze.

Great food and atmosphere in Kazimierz. We look forward to coming back here once it is a bit easier to travel :)

W ostatnie wakacje byłem w Krakowie, gdzie idąc ulicą Józefa na Kazimierzu natknąłem się na specyficzną restaurację o nazwie Starka, która to nazwa oznacza (jak wpisałem w google) tradycyjną, wytrawną wódką żytnią. Wstąpiłem nie tyle na wódkę co na obiad i jest to miejsce naprawdę godne polecenia - smakowało wybornie! Na koniec spróbowałem tutejszych, domowych likierów - bardzo dobre!

My first time trying polish food was great here! good recommendation!

I love this place. The food here is sooo good. I've been here a few times now and had great food and great fun every time. The atmosphere is just great because this place makes everyone happy. Tables are busy, people are smiling, staff are so friendly, food is de-li-ci-ous. I really recommend. And it's such a fabulous place to try really good Polish cuisine! There are lots of places that sell it but they don't make it properly. Starka make Polish food in the proper way and with the right ingredients aaaand with lots of love, clearly.

Nie polecam! Prosiłem o makaron, który nie będzie rozgotowany, otrzymałem rozgotowany... po 20 min otrzymałem nowe zamówienie bez głównego składnika... otrzymałem żałosny rabat. Drugie zamówienie miało włosy - długie blond :( Żałosne, a rekompensata jeszcze bardziej żałosna

so busy, so trashy, so cheap - i bloody love it!

Hi, folks I'm just wondering can anybody help me out, I was in the bar on Monday 19th November, 2018 around 11.30 pm there was a problem that I encountered in the unisex toilets, I found my girlfriend in stall with another bloke from our table she left the table when I was out having a cigarette I walked down and caught her with the door closed and him, he was from ukraine, as you can see my point I was pissed at her and left very angry!/she said she was spiked which I doubt because she screamed at my and ran after me. If anyone sees this or can shed light to me cheers!!

It’s a disappointment to its own history. 2 years ago we dined there and enjoyed it so much we decided to fly to Krakow this time just to dine there. The contrast from 2 years ago to now made it the 1st time I have left a restaurant mid meal. The waiter named Kamil would be better suited to macdonalds or KFC. Next door is The Grey Goose with far a superior dining experience and professional staff that cannot do enough to make your evening special.

This place provides a very poor service and food. 1) Restaurant staff registered our reservation by handwriting in their book, but did not manage to find it just on the next day when we arrived to the restaurant in time. So they made us wait until they find a free table. 2) Their so called “Traditional Polish red borscht” is a lie: they provide a plate with beetroot water heavily, I mean HEAVILY, peppered. Where is all the staffing? The soup is supposed to be served with “French pasty finger”, but as you may have guessed, there was none. 3) Guess what, “Rib eye steak (marbly) from seasoned meat, marinated in rosemary,” is made of pork. Seriously, a pork rib eye?! The price for the food they provide is way too high. The food quality is equal to one in a café in a small town somewhere nowhere.

One of the best restaurant in Poland. We've been at Christmas time and it was amazing. I highly recommend it.

Best restaurant by far but be warned you need to book in advance

This would be the 6th time we have come to this restaurant and has never failed to enjoy everything about the wonderful restaurant and hopefully will come on 25th August
