My gym for over two years now. Nice people, clean and usually not too crowded.
Iam the President of Masters Football inn Malta, affiliated with the Malta Football Assiciation.It s our intention to bring a group of players, 49 year and over to play a friendly against any team in Krakow of the same age group. We chose your club because of its famous history. DO YOU THINK IT IS POSSIBLE PL. IF NOT, COULD YOU BE KIND ENOUGH TO GIVE US ANOTHER CLUB CONTACT THAT PLAYS VETERANS FOOTBALL.

Is it possible to get a list of Polish amateur veteran teams that play either Saturdays or Sundays. I would like to bring a group of English players over to visit Krakow. I have been to Silesia many times so i know the culture pretty well but I do not know how to organise a football match there. I want them all to see the great city that it is. I can organise where to stay and trips to Zakopane or Oscwiecim. Any help organising a game on grass or artificial would be appreciated. The two teams can then eat and drink together in the City.

Referring to my earlier message about Sheffield FC playing Cracovia I have now found out that we (Sheffield FC) are actually playing Liga 3 side KS Hutnik Krakow instead.
There is a sports shop on grodska, past prozac on the left hand side walking towards wawel, you should be able to get one in there, sorry i dont know the name of it.
Does anybody know where you can buy a Cracovia top from? Nobody seems to be selling them on the internet.

Tomorrow we go by car to Krakow(1300 km)for a long weekend city trip and of course "the Holy War" Wisla-Cracovia derby on Sunday 22/03. We wonder what an experience this will be, reading all the stories about the violence around this derby. We hope there also will be Cracovia fans in the stadium. Can anyone from there tell us more about a good pub for atmosphere before the match ? And is it dangerous around the ground ?

The courts are very good, reasonably priced - it's important to book ahead if you want to be sure of a space as it always seems to be pretty full whenever I am there. You can rent good rackets very reasonably too. Find it inside an old cinema in a courtyard building.
Rugby does not seem to be that popular here. When I visited in January, my club team tried to organise some friendly matches with local teams but it was almost impossible. When I personally visted this club, I found there was some American Football match on between Poland and Kazakhstan or some other country - an international no less - but with less than a hundred supporters watching on! Hilarious!

Cracovia... So far from Curitiba, Brazil - the most "polish" of the brazilian cities. The Pope was here, in ´80. We created a very beautiful park, "o Bosque do Papa" (Pope´s Park), with a little chapel consagrated to Our Lady of Cestokowa. Cracovia ! The team of our beloved Pope ! Our Saint John Paul II ! Our "João de Deus" (John of God). Fans of Cracovia, all the best for you ! (My team in Brazil is Coritiba FC a good choice for all of you...)
