Don't think of Zakopane as just a winter paradise - the Tatras have something to offer year round! The mountains themselves are great for hiking as well as winter sports, while the town has many wooden architectural wonders and offers a taste of Polish highlander culture. Be sure to bring your hiking clothes that you picked up from the north face outlets. Best of all, the tour guides will take you by car from and back to Krakow, taking all the hassle out of planning a trip to the mountains.

The mountains are wonderful in both the summer and in the winter. There are many peaks that can be summited in the summer, in the winter, it is best to find hidden valleys and peaks to go ski touring. Wonderful views all-year round!
We went to Giewont and would like to do it again! Hard trek, but worth every effort. Our guide was superb - telling us a lot about local culture. Thank you!
I love Zakopane! the mountains are breath-taking and we had great time with Piotrek - our guide. We did about 3 hour trek up the mountains and enjoyed the views. I wish I could stay there for longer:)
