Wroclaw Football Team Reigns In Ekstraklasa

Wroclaw's main football team Slask Wroclaw has landed the Ekstraklasa title beating out Wisla Krakow in the final match on the final day of the Ekstraklasa (Poland's premier league) season. The Wroclaw team beat Chorzow with a final score of 1-0, with the winning goal courtesy of Slovenian-born Rok Elsner. Fireworks were set off to celebrate the city's victory.

This marks the second title in Ekstraklasa history for Slask Wroclaw, which won the title previously in 1977. Last year, the title was awarded to Wisla Krakow. Placing third in this year's Ekstraklasa season standings is Legia Warszawa, with Lech Poznan in fourth.
