Skybound Train

A new sculpture will be unveiled in Wroclaw this year, one with perhaps the most wacky and out-of-this-world concept to date (and Wroclaw already has its share!). Located at Plac Strzegomski, the Skybound Train will consist of a full-size, real locomotive seemingly shooting out of the ground towards the skies.

The train to be used will arrive on 20 June from its origin - the Museum of Rail and Industry of Slask in Jaworzyna Slaskie. This date will also see the Art Offensive celebrations take place at future site of the sculpture including performances and live painting.

**Flood Update:

Following heavy rainfall in Southern Poland, the country must once again deal with moving flood waves across the country, including in the Odra river in Wroclaw. While water levels are expected to rise significantly once again, they are predicted to last only a short period of time (approximately one day) and rise to about one meter less than previously in May.
