Chelsea coming to Sofia

The team of Chelsea will land in Sofia on September 25, two days before its UEFA match against local champion Levski.

The British team will arrive in the afternoon and they will hold an official practice session the next day, on the eve of the clash with Levski. This will be the first UEFA Champions League game of the group phase ever played in Bulgaria.

Chelsea fans will be granted 2,200 tickets, the management of the two teams agreed in a meeting with London police representatives, Bulgarian policemen and the UK Football Association.

Bulgaria's team will be playing in their traditional blue shirts, while Chelsea will face them in white.

Levski fans will also be able to get their hands on some tickets starting Friday, but only if they have a subscription card. That would allow them a 30% discount and the chance to snatch tickets in advance from the team's headquarters before they start selling on September 18 for everyone else.
