Well, what can we say? Once all the bizarre thoughts have run their course through your head (A Brazilian in Poland?) and your eyes have adjusted to the fishing nets hanging from the walls and the loudspeakers in hessian sacks, you are left with one really great little restaurant with plenty of cheerful service. The stuffed pancakes are delicious, and the imported Argentinian beef a welcome change from the tough stuff which is all too common elsewhere. After a meal here, English visitors might just forgive them for winning the World Cup.

Kaum ein anderes Krakauer Lokal versprüht so viel Charme und Odem wie die Henne. Jedes Stück des originalgetreuen Mobiliars zeugt von der bewegten Historie des Brasilianischers Lokals.

Who said a Brazilian restaurant has to be run by a Brazilian or an Italian restaurant by an Italian?

The important is the quality of the dishes. I'm not a great fan of Brazilian food, moreover the best picanha comes from Argentina. But this doesn't mean the restaurant is bad...

Disappointing. Menu only alright. Nothing special about the food. Service was terrible. Would not go back

I'm surprised by the bad reviews of this restaurant! It's true that some waitresses and better than others - a couple could do with smiling a bit more, but they're all polite and some are some are very nice indeed. Also the food is really really tasty. It's not haute cuisine but its simple and well done - and a refreshing change from Polish and Italian cuisine (found in most Krakow restaurants). Decor is superb and Ipanema is one of the most relaxing places for a beer in Krakow (although not sure if you're allowed just for a beer or not!). I've been in Krakow for three years and i still come back and take my guests here - all of whom have liked it a lot.

I've been there with my girlfriend and wouldn't recommend it at all! The food resembled brazilian only by the name, taste had nothing to do with brazilian specialities. Plus the service was poor, nothing to come back for.

Nothing special. Service was ok, the atmosphere is nice, but the food is not memorable. A guide book recommended the avocado soup; it really is nothing to write home about and I really couldn't recommend it.

We are going to visit Crakow in June and you bet we will visit this restaurant to check how could a portuguese, who lives in UK, talk about Brazilian food! Brazil nowadays has Its own food and culture, and different from Portugal, as well as Portugal. We'll check this out!!!

I apologize in the name of my country for this! This is a completely dishonest business. Be always welcome to Portugal to try really nice and good dishes there!

You have to go! The best food and a stylish restaurant. Great service, a real gem. Great prices, a great time! I'd rate it 5/5 but that I reserve for places like the French Laundry in Napa.

On a recent trip to Cracow and my hotel being just down the street, I found myself eating here twice. Having lived in Brasil for 15yrs I found the food average-service ok; needs a wider choice of dishes though!! ps. very pretty waiting staff.

A great little place with the best starters in town - the cheese balls and the casava rolls are to die for. However, the main meals are a bit of a lucky dip - the vegetarian options for example are an excuse - a fob off for the poor non-meat-eaters (and have got worse over the last few years), the milkshakes (koktaile) are powdery at best. Go for a freshly squeezed juice or the cocktail mixers - super.

I liked the place. The decor is very traditional. The food was good. Not sure how Brazilian inspired it was but it was good. The service was a lil slow and a relatively pricey.

this is just a restaurant. nothing special. not overly cheap, not too expensive. Food is just like any other restaurant nearby. service is average. I just wish I didn't go by the recommendations on this page.
