Art Club Bledne Kolo

red walls, cigarette smoke, head shaved characters, long lines , unfortunately many heavy smokers, this place is to be avoided too

You know, to just drop in unplanned at 11:00pm on a Tuesday and find a full, hoppin' party is a nice thing after your brain has been completely burnt out. Indeed, the bartender was lovely, took the time to look at me when serving and gave change promptly - with a smile, to boot. In fact, the 2 bartenders kept the whole queue moving rather quickly. The crowd was pretty chill. The live band was SICK until they finished their set at 12:30am. Just wish I knew who they were. Then the house DJ took over. None of the tracks were mixed (???), but the vibes were good and the body movin, as long as you could tolerate the pause (no exaggeration) between tracks. It also appeared that there was an equipment malfunction, but after (another) pause, they had the tables back in action...Cool mixed crowd. Couples with serious dance moves were killing it (remember, this is Poland). Ahhh...Polish girls...but do yourself a favor and bring your own...Go with friends, because everyone else does and expects it. Hence, no friends = there will be limits to your fun...for a techno-head like myself going alone, I still had a great time...but what's with no mixing? Maybe its a rock joint thing....

Check out what dj's will be playing on myspace first ! And then go wild on their music set...especially when you are fond of deep and/or minimal house & techno.

The club is great, offers reasonable priced booze and as written above, has a good taste of dj selection.

When next time in Krakow, I will definitely check what dj sets are scheduled.

One minus: I had to queue for the male toilet to take a piss(but it seems a common shortcoming in all Krakow clubs ;-D)

good place to go if you're in the mood to dance, particularly on saturdays - the party gets going around midnight and doesn't stop til morning! and the music and crowd is usually much better (and older) than normal "club" clubs like cien or something like that.

To mo?e by? zaleta - w ko?cu przyci?ga rzesze klubowiczów, których nap?yw zdarza si? kontrolowa? klubowej selekcji. Z drugiej strony mo?e by? to wada, wszystkim nie mo?na sprzyja?, ale dopóki jest zabawa, nie ma si? chyba nad czym zastanawia?.

Currently closed for refurbishment by the way... Should be back for Autumn 2006.

A uniquely cool place amongst Krakow's nightclubs. Both the decor of the place and the music is outstanding. This place is full of students, so be ready for younger crowd. Overall, very nice.

really nice club indeed - got here early this evening to find a chilled atmosphere and top lounge music. Laid-back in a cool sort of way. Worth checking out.

W cafe/bar "Bledne Kolo" mozna sie niezle zakrecic, zwlaszcza gdy sie czlowiek czesto kreci wokol baru. W pierwszym pomieszczeniu (na pierwszym pietrze) przywita Cie kolejna cykliczna wystawa, oraz miekkie fotele,bys mogl spoczac po obejrzeniu obrazow. Za to w drugim pomieszczeniu zobaczysz pod sufitem prawdziwe bledne kolo, i od razu swiat sie kreci w lepszym kierunku, i czujesz, ze jestes na miejscu! Ciekawe miejsce.
