Night of the Temples // Noc Swiatyn
Poland seems to have an endless list of reasons to celebrate and we are definitely not complaining! If you've never experienced of these country-wide 'Noc ..' / 'Night of...' then you better get you're in for a real treat. There's a Night of the Museums, Night of Jazz, Night of Theatre, Night of Science and a Night of Poetry... but coming up soon is the most divine of them all - Night of the Temples
Once a year, when the sun goes down and the moon comes out, the doors to Krakow's holy places will remain wide open!
Night of the Temples is an epic temple/church/synagogues/monastary crawl across the city, with loads of them set up with special displays, interactive activities, musical and artistic displays, workshops, guided tours & more. You'll be happy to hear that it's also basically, all you need to purchase is a symbolic 1zl commemorative coin which grants you entry to all sacred spaces.
Krakow has a LOT of churches, synagogues and more, this is basically a golden ticket... so you will really have to plan in advance in order to make the most of it and see all the best bits.
