Love is in the air- Valentine's day Toastmasters Meeting

Wednesday - whether you like it or not - it is the Valentine's day! The Toastmasters club warm-up and table topic sessions will be around this subject.

Organize speech to achieve general and specific purpose; Reinforce purpose with beginning, body, and conclusion; Project sincerity and conviction; Control nervousness; Strive to not use notes.

The objectives are:
Organize material, tailor to audience's needs; Give briefing according to specific objective so audience understands information; Effectively handle question-and-answer session.

*Elena Semenchuk, ACS ALB 
Interpersonal Communication #5 - Asserting Yourself Effectively 
The objectives are:
Employ the four-step method for addressing a problem and asking for help; Assertively overcome other's resistance to the requests.

* Grzegorz Skorupiński 
Overcoming adversity by doing nothing
Competent Communication Manual #10 - Inspire Your Audience The objectives are:
Inspire the audience by appealing to noble motives, challenge the audience to achieve a higher level of beliefs or achievement; Appeal to the audience’s needs and emotions, using stories, anecdotes and quotes to add drama.
