Join a Pierogi Workshop!

Pierogi is like a religion in Poland. Italy has its ravioli, China it's baozi and Georgia it's khinkali. Dumplings, steamed, boiled & fried, seem to work their way around the world and if you traced them back through history... well, you'd be tracing a long time. The Polish passion for their local lumps of dough has endured through times of war and through times of bounty. If you were to learn the skill of creating these popular dumplings, then you would certainly earn the admiration of the People of Poland!

Plus - it's a whole bunch of fun! Come meet Marta - your Pierogi teacher and your colourful immersion in an artist and food lovers Poland. This workshop takes place in one of Krakow's most beautiful neighbourhoods (Salwator, 15 min by tram, 30 mins walk or 10 by taxi from the centre) and certainly one of it's most beautiful apartments. 

To infuse you with her Polish cooking skills, Marta will prepare for you a traditional Polish meal with local produce, much of which is grown in her garden, in the heart of the countryside. After you get your hands dirty, moulding those delicious pierogi with various filling you can also enjoy Marta's dessert, often a delicious cheesecake with chocolate sauce or salty caramel, sprinkled with wild berries from the garden or Cracovian style apple pie.
