Rare Coins and Medals

The magnificent pieces in this exhibition are widely recognised to be among the most important and valuable coins and medals anywhere in Poland.

They include currency bearing the images of the Jagiellonian dynasty, as well as coins from the times of Kazimierz the Great and Bolesław Chrobry. Together, these 28 pieces represent a new and often hidden perspective on Polish history, usually only available to scholars and the National Museum.
