Cracovia 3D

First came Krakow’s hi-tech underground museum, marking the development of the city. Now an new exhibition brings the 17th century concept of panoramic art bang up to date with a series of 3D digital reconstructions of Krakow’s historic buildings.

The exhibition shows how familiar landmarks have changed over centuries, and is inspired by the Civitates Orbis images of 1617. Back then, they used a stylus and copper plate to etch the images. These days, it’s computer modelling.
