Editor's review

The main motivation of Polonia Wax Museum is the desire to share, down to the smallest detail, both the history and the face to face reality of famous historical figures; spiritual / secular / scientific personalities, politicians, celebrities and athletes. It is one thing to read something about a person in a book or on the internet, but to stand beside them... to feel their presence... to observe every line and wrinkle, this is an experience like no other. Often unnervingly realistic, you will find yourself at one moment on the film set of Pirates of the Carribean; starring alongside Johnny Depp, and the next moment discussing atomic particles with Einstein in his study.

Polonia Wax Museum pride themselves on attention to detail, and use of the finest elements available in creating their masterpieces. Original costumes, decorations and props help to set the mood, immersing you in the atmosphere of each individual figure on display while presenting to you a personalised retrospective in the most professional way possible.

A visit to this museum can also be a valuable learning opportunity in regards to the history of the Polish nation. With the hope to share a sense of pride and national identity, Polonia are building awareness and respect for Polish historical figures and heritage through the exposition of many local figureheads of societal change. Dozens of themed rooms and characters will take you on a journey throughout the ages. From the interwar years of Poland, through World War II, the 70s, 80s and 90s and right up to modern times, allowing you to enjoy this fascinating insight in a most entertaining, unique and captivating way.

Created in 2016, The Polonia Wax Museum are constantly developing their exhibits and techniques, with a desire to create the best and the largest exhibition of wax figures in Poland and the region. Well worth a look not only for the fantastically unique learning opportunity, but most especially for the fun and excitement to be had by old and young!
