The Krzysztofory Palace is one of the most beautiful and impressive palaces in Krakow, and the main branch of the Historical Museum of Krakow. Its name originates from St. Christopher, patron saint of the original, medieval tenement, which once stood in the place. The townhouse as it is today was built in the 17th c.. The townhouse hosts various exhibitions of the Historical Museum of Krakow, both the permanent one, as well as temporary.
