Visitors keen to sample a variety of musical strains from Poland's past could try some of the following. The charming little church of St. Adalbert's - the oldest in Cracow - hosts daily concerts by the Royal Chamber Orchestra. Meanwhile, for some folk flourish, a special evening is organised at the magical Habsburg-era cafe, Jama Michalika (ul. Florianska 45). Besides a traditional Polish dinner, guests will be served up a banquet of Polish dances by folk band Krakowianie, with polkas, mazurkas and many more. Finally, for a glimpse into the wondrous world of Klezmer, head down to Hotel Rubinstein in Kazimierz, where gifted local bands regularly perform this inspirational Jewish music. Tonightmwas magical. Each and every song was done with excellence. As a master conductor of 35 years I thought the interpretations were refreshing and presented beautifully. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
