Editor's review

When the Tatars laid waste to Krakow in 1241, St. Andrew's was one of the few buildings to escape the annihilation. Originally founded in 1079, the church is the only surviving Romanesque sacral building in the city open to the public (though the interior is mostly Baroque). It's perched at the Royal Route, so missing it when heading towards the Wawel Castle is virtually impossible.
