The planning of Stadsbrouwerij Eindhoven began a few years ago. A team of like-minded people with different talents came together to plan the first medium sized brewery in Eindhoven since the last one closed in 1953. Arrangements were made to rent part of the old Schellens factory on the corner of Vestdijk and Bleekweg, by the Dommel River. Many investors supported the initiative and the brewing installation was delivered in November 2014. Construction began immediately and the first beer was brewed in January 2015. The brewing equipment consists of 3x1000 litre brew kettles, 6x1000 litre and 4x2000 litre cooled fermenting tanks. With their bright beer tank, Stadsbrouwerij Eindhoven supplies both bottle and cask conditioned beers.

Nowadays this is the right place for the ultimate beer experience. You'll find more than 23 craft-beers, home made dishes (to match their beers!), the cosy Cafe 100 Watt and a large waterside terrace overlooking the Dommel. You can visit the brewery for a tour, do a beer tasting, or simply enjoy their tasteful beers and other drinks, the food and the atmosphere! Cafe 100 Watt is open Monday and Tuesday from 15:00-22:00, Wednesday and Thursday from 14:00-0:00, Friday and Saturday from 14:00-01:00 and Sunday from 13:00-22:00.
