House of Albums is a niche bookstore, specializing in albums and all kinds of illustrated books from various fields such as art, both Polish and foreign, and also design, photography, architecture, interiors, sports, film, music, tourism and hobby, along with a variety of illustrated books for children. The House of Albums owners' aim was to create a space not limited to books' purchase, but a cosy haven for bookworms who enjoy spending time leafing through books in a laid-back atmosphere. The bookstore offers some 5000 titles and is just the right spot for both Polish and foreign visitors who seek hard-to-find and specialty books. More information at www.houseofalbums.pl.

I've just been there - it is like my favorite bookstores in Berlin - cosy, with amazing choice of books. Not only arts, but many more. Stuff is very helpful, they really know, what they sell. Impresive!
Fantastic place near the Market Square (about 5-10 minutes). I have found a few interesting books about design ( I haven't seen them in other bookshops). Helpful and nice seller :)
Whoa! That place is so packed with books that you may have problems deciding where to put your hands at! This journey may take you few hours my friend! So beware because once you enter you might not want to leave. Must see!
If you're visiting Old Town - this is just a short walk down from there, so add it to your 'must do' list. The books were brimming from the shelves and the atmosphere great!
The specialized bookshop which I was looking for a long time. Sellers are so helpful and friendly. They have big knowledge and can give you useful advice. I will recommend for sure House of Albums for my family and friends. It is excelent place to bought something special that you can not find somewhere else.
This was a lovely discovery. There are many books here that other bookshops simply can't stock because they're very large format or about obscure topics. HOA seems to have a great blend of art, architecture and social issue photography that can keep a browser occupied for hours.
