Evening for Puszcza Bialowieska

Puszcza Białowieska (Białowieża Forest), on the border of Poland and Belarus, is Europe’s last low-land forest with natural features and a UNESCO World-heritage site. In 2017, the forest has become the subject of big dispute, while huge-scale devastation is ongoing. Let’s come together at Krakow’s first English-language event to learn more about the situation in the forest!

Collaborate Krakow, the community for socially-engaged foreigners living in the city, hosts Obóz dla Puszczy (Camp for the Forest), a grass-roots citizen initiative for the protection of Białowieaża Forest, inviting you to spend the evening together in Krakow.

Come find out what’s happening in Białowieża Forest! Get an overview of the events that have occurred in Białowieża Forest this year. Hear from scientists, activists and talk to members of Obóz dla Puszczy. Learn how you can support and contribute to the protection of Białowieża Forest.

We will also have tasty bike-blender smoothies, trendy screen-printed t-shirts, bags, mugs and stickers available for donation on the event.

Evening for Puszcza is a fundraiser event for Obóź dla Puszczy which exists thanks to donations and contributions from people who care for the well-being of Białowieża Forest. We welcome your support in the forms of money, items or skills.

Collaborate Krakow is a community for non-polish speakers living in Krakow who want to be actively involved in this city! This not-for-profit project runs under the umbrella of Ambasada Krakowian - a community and space for community. Ambasada Krakowian exists thanks to contributions and donations from the community and does not receive external funding.
