On Wednesday, July 26, we invite you to the Malopolska Art Gallery for a screening of 21 x New York - a documentary essay by Piotr Stasik awarded at the 56th Krakow Film Festival. New York's intriguing images, intimate narrative and atmospheric music bring a trance through which the viewer has the chance to get closer to strangers and lean over their fate. In the end, this film is also a mirror in which we can look if we have enough courage. The show will take place in the cinema hall of the Malopolska Art Garden (Rajska 12).

A documentary essay about the state of modern man living in Western society in the 21st century, narrated by the voices of 21 heroes met in the New York subway. Travelers of all ages, with different skin colors, come from all corners of the world and for various reasons found themselves in New York. The camera, from the underworld, follows them to the surface to watch the moments of their lives - from ridiculous and absurd to dramatic and sad. Heroes are looking for love, but they have no strength for it. Interhuman relationships break up in the hustle and bustle of social media. Sex becomes synonymous with intimacy.
