UFO VISUAL LAB

Unidentified Flying Objects and extraterrestrials have been the themes appearing regularly in the mainstream media and science discussions for many years. We keep asking questions: why people want to believe? How come so many of us 'know', how the flying saucers or aliens look like, although no one has ever proved they exist? Why the idea of UFO continuously inspires artists to produce stories, movies and artworks about it?

UFO Visual Lab project will include:

- Main exhibition, which explores artistic vision of 10 contemporary artists and collectives: Franek Ammer, Gosia Ćwiech Artur, Gołębiowski, the TBX Group (Paweł Bagiński, Miłosz Cirocki, Wojtek Skrzypczyński), Kamil #2, Anna Kieblesz, Karol Liver, Michał Matejko, Kaja Rata, and Katarzyna Zolich;
- Laboratory - research space, including timeline and a library;
- ‘Alternative Facts’ - zine publication prepared by Katarzyna Legendź and Kasia Zolich from Paper Beats Rock;
- #SHOWMEYOURUFO - selected works from our online research (showmeyourufo.tumblr.com);
- ‘Wall of Evidence’ - curatorial project by Iza Zdziebko and FotoBzik association;
- ‘Disclosure’ - curatorial project by Karol Liver from Prism Photo Magazine.
