Krakow Street Band

Krakow Street Band have slowly become a well-known musical showcase of the city, for both locals and for people coming from abroad. Their band is composed of nine professional musicians, who usually play in different bands and projects on a daily basis, but gather on sunny days to perform in the Krakow Market Square.Their performances boast positive energy, and everyone can see that their main motivation is the joy of playing together, while the clatter of coins in the guitar case is just a nice addition.

In the first half of 2013, the band quickly gained popularity all over the country - first, the crowdfunding campaign to fund their debut album ended with 170% of the planned amount. Then, the band got to the final of 'Must Be The Music', a musical television program watched by millions of viewers, winning the jury's excellent views at every stage. Lastly, in June, Krakow Street Band represented Poland at the Haizetara Festival in Basque Country, one of the largest events devoted to street music in the world.
