Mehoffer On Mogilskie Roundabout

A famous 19 c. Kraków painter, Józef Mehoffer will grant his image to Mogilskie Roundabout in a grand campaign aimed to decorate the rather drab communication hub. The first edition of this city art project was dedicated to another famous Kraków artist, Stanisław Wyspiański, and was carried out in 2013. Its effects are a joy to the eye to the day and definitely improve the overall look of Mogilskie.

Anyone willing can join and (literally!) make a contribution by helping to create a mosaic portrait of Mehoffer, designed and made by Lubosz Karwat. Stay in touch with the event on FB for a grand finale and unveiling of the 82m sq mosaic on September 13th.
