Forever Young!

The Young Poland (Mloda Polska) movement has been a source of fascination for academics of early 20th century art, marking as it does a brief but frantically busy period of creativity reflecting the political situation in Poland at the time. Forever Young, examining Polish art around the turn of the century, is an event set to be as brief yet fruitful as was Mloda Polska itself. It will explore the place of this movement in the wider field of European art at the time, and look at how and why the works that emerged from this time are so popular and important in a modern Poland that is far removed from that period in every respect.
