Eindhoven is famous for its Dutch Design Week, but during the other 51 weeks of the year the city also has Dutch Design on offer. Yksi is one of those places where you can see (and buy!) a collection of Dutch Design.
Yksi Shop is a lifestyle store with furniture, rugs, accessoiries, curtains and more, all presented in a special way and designed by famous designers and young talent. It's what Dutch design stands for: products conceived, designed and often made in Holland.
Yksi Expo is formed by two exhibition spaces in the same space as the shop; there is 'The Expo' and 'The Stage'. With those spaces Yksi Expo raises (inter)national awareness for design and provides a platform for design in all of its forms such as architecture, fashion design, graphic design, product design and technology design. Yksi exhibitions have travelled around the world; they have already been in places like Beijing, Bratislava, Moscow and Milan. Yksi is driven by the ambition to educate and inspire upcoming talent as well as a broad audience, make sure you don't miss this when you are in Eindhoven!
